I've made a short animation of my water turbine concept for the "3D Allusions – Off the Grid Challenge 17" competition. As I said before, this concept might be a bit futuristic, because I can't find any technology like this that exists now. The idea is that the turbines are hollow tubes and blade-less, and are caused to spin slowly by water passing through them (like the rifling of a gun barrel). This is so they can generate power for my floating house, but pose little danger to fish and other life in the water.
